Last night, Liya Kabede helped celebrate the launch of her clothing line (popular for it's adorable children pieces) for J.Crew. Named "Lemlem," which means to "fourish" or "to bloom" in Amharic. Kabede, born in Addis Abbaba, continues her support of Ethiopia by paying men there to do the hand-weaving of her clothes, and women to sew the embroidery.
