Liza Lou, hailing from southern Cali, unveiled the "Maximum Security Fence" last night at the Lever House.  The artist from Southern California once spent five years making a full-size backyard entirely out of glass beads and has "beaded" the inside of a mobile home and kitchen (1996, New York Museum) [PaperMag].  Along with her maximum security fence, which brought out many admiring socials, she debuted a mile long rope woven out of beads at L & M Arts (45 E. 78th).
