Yesterday, the first ever JC Penney store opened it's doors in Manhattan's Herald Square, and Kimora Lee Simmons was there to help our Mayor, Michael Bloomberg stock up on some purchases.  The mayor wears ties from JC PENNY? How recessionista-fab of him! The store is the subject of "a major, multimedia marketing campaign, a rarity for Penney." “A special case gets a special level of attention.
