Monday night The Lighthouse at Pier 61 Chelsea Piers held the annual culinary gala benefit to support The Center for Hearing and Communication. Top chefs from restaurants such as Butter, Buddakan, and The Central Park Boathouse teamed up with celebrity sous chefs to prove, once again, that even already delicious food can taste even better when prepared and served by a famous face! Guests at the event not only enjoyed samples from famous New York restaurants, but also were privy to chef secrets from live demonstrations. As if all these culinary delights could not satisfy, there were also live and silent auctions that boasted one of a kind prizes. Helping others with their hearing and communication skills never was so rewarding!
