Last Thursday, Nike celebrated the launch of their 21 Mercer Street location, the only global location to carry the complete Nike Sportswear NSW collection. The event featured a presentation by our favorite artist Robert Wilson and producer Noah Khoshbin, who rendered Nike's innovations in the areas of sport and design into the energy of athletes-dancer Sofia Boutella, skateboarder Shingo Iwasaki and BMX rider Nigel Sylvester-creating a unique visual and sensory experience. Their project premiered at the Nike Sportswear launch in Beijing in May, 2008. Complimenting this work was a series of projects by artists Timothy McGurr, Heron Preston and Boogie, inspired by New York sport and style.
