The National September 11th Memorial & Museum held the first annual "Notes of Hope" Benefit Dinner at Cipriani's Wall Street. Mayor Michael Bloomberg spoke, along with Robert De Niro and Dennis Leary. John Mellencamp was there to perform his hit "Just Another Day" and Lola Astanova performed as well. Other attendees included Jane Rosenthal, Billy Crystal, Craig Hatkoff, Governer David Paterson, John Whitehead, John Sykes, Nicholas and Susan Scoppetta, Jonathan and Lizzie Tisch, Diana Taylor, Mayor Ed Koch, and Senator Chuck Schumer among others.
