Last night the Plaza Hotel was hopping to the sounds of Grammy Winners Wyclef Jean and violinist Miri Ben-Ari, who performed as Phoenix House presented its 2009 Phoenix Rising Award to Lisa Ellis. Among the guests honoring Ms. Ellis were Paul and Dan Fireman, Rose Marie Bravo, Eli and Abby Manning, Sarah Chapman, Rick Fox, Cristie Kerr and Erik Stevens, John Legend, David Lipman, Will McDonough, Shaun and Amy O’Hara, Shari Redstone, Aaron Sells, Robert Souza, Michael Strahan, Gus Williams, and Josh Zeide.
