The New York Photo Awards 2009 were held on Friday at St.Ann's Warehouse in DUMBO, followed by an after party in the Powerhouse Arena. More story and photos below...

The award ceremony recognizes 14 winners and 28 honorable mentions in categories such as Editorial, Short Film/Video, Fine Art, Advertising, and Photo Books. The prizes were judged by a jury of 17 distinguished industry members, such as Bill Ewing, Director of the Musee de L'Elysee, and Jody Quon, Director of Photography, New York Magazine.
