Ralph Macchio Re-Surfaces At Premiere Of Coppola's Latest Flick

All photos by CHANCE YEH for PMc] Director Francis Ford Coppola was all smiles last night as he walked the red carpet for the premiere of his newest film Tetro, his first original screenplay since 1974's The Conversation. Guests at the event varied greatly on Hollywood's A to Z list, and included the likes of the movie's cast, VH1 comedian Paul F. Tompkins, and the Karate Kid himself, Ralph Macchio.Held at the Directors Guild Theater and sponsored by Gucci and the Film Foundation, the premiere also brought out heavy-hitters such as Drew Nieporent, owner of Nobu Fifty Seven where the after party took place, and legendary writer Gay Talese. Tetro, the story of a 17-year-old (Alden Ehrenreich) boy who travels to Buenos Aires in hopes of finding and reconnecting with his estranged brother, Tetro (Vincent Gallo), is scheduled to open in limited released on June 11.
