This year's benefit, which celebrated the School's 75th anniversary, included a performance of George Balanchine's Serenade, his first piece choreographed in the United States, in which he used SAB dancers. Among the guests were socialite Pamela Joyner, singer Michelle Pirret, and author Doria de la Chappelle. Proceeds from the evening went toward a scholarship fund for aspiring SAB students.
