Just when I thought the male route was the only way to go out in style at the end of it all, the Look Book gives us one of it's finest characters. This week, NY Mag debuts Emma Rosenblum, the confident bead artist. It may have taken her "all my life to be comfortable with my taste and style", but the years of trial and error have paid off. More from the profile:
So you like the attention?
Sure, why not? Especially as an older woman in New York City, I tend to feel invisible. The city’s all about youth, and suddenly you realize, I’m older than my doctors, I’m older than my dentist. I know I look a little different, and to be honest, it’s nice to be noticed. How do men react to your look?
I think I totally scare men. I really do. I think if they’re not stylish or artistic, they probably think I’m out to lunch.
It's good to know we have at least two charasmatic and ecclectic older ladies romping around town to give us girls something about aging to actually get excited about.

Hope lifted from my earlier comment on Armani--older women DO have fun! Love that she owns her scariness.
