So far this year, New York City has been celebrating the punk-disco-eighties era that is Stephen Sprouse with art events and parties celebrating the designer's forever impact on the cultural style of this city. With the release of the Stephen Sprouse Book by brothers Roger and Mauricio Padilha in January, the parties continued non stop spreading across the city from Louis Vuitton stores to art galleries to concert halls and now all the way over to LaLa Land at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood.

DETAILS Magazine founder and longtime Sprouse friend, Annie Flanders, along with event producer Bryan Rabin, and designer Michael Schmidt hosted the L.A. signing and release party. Guests included Dita Von Teese, Julie Newmar, Holly Woodlawn, James St. James, Tatum O'Neal, Courtney Love, Phillipe Blond, and David Blond,  but sadly Marc Jacobs was not present in his Louis Vuitton Sprouse Graffiti tights.
