(Very)Post-Pride Party At Metropolitan Museum Of Art

    Anyone who has ever been to an event at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art would probably agree that it's one of the city's best party venues. The Met lived up to its reputation last night at the Second Annual Post-Pride Party, an early evening viewing of both the Francis Bacon Centenary Retrospective and The Model As Muse: Embodying Fashion. Though the Grand Pavilion provided a comically grandiose background for a party blasting ABBA songs, the setting is what truly made the party, and guests had plenty of room to spread out and "circulate" amongst the three bars.     There was no discernible reason why the Post-Pride party was so very post the end of pride week, but attendees seemed only too happy to keep the celebrations going, a beacon of new social change and acceptance at one of New York's oldest and most venerable institutions.
