Fit

The amount of time and money spent on insuring that your new blazer fits like a glove is insane. Seriously, every stitch, measurement and dimension is analyzed, tested and perfected. A fit model is hired to stand as a real-life mannequin for hours on end. We move, bend and give feedback on the garment so that the final product is perfect. Imagine standing for three hours as a team of five people examine your arm hole. This is expensive, but so important. You know when you put on an inexpensive jacket and can't move your arms? This could be an armhole or a cross back issue. How about when a specific size from a brand doesn't fit consistently across a collection? Perhaps they need more moderation with a standard fit model.
