Sunny and Annie's Gourmet Deli

Sunny and Annie’s Gourmet Deli
The Infamous 'Pho Sandwich'Sunny and Annie’s is an inconspicuous deli planted right off Tompkins Square Park. The outside, with a dark blue awning and the standard lettering of a deli sign, is quite misleading as to what is inside. The sandwiches are not to be missed. The quality of the ingredients is on point, and the creative construction of them are even more so. The most raved about sandwiches tend to be the Kimchi Bulgogi - with roast beef, kimchi, fried onion, marinade, and avocado. The Pho sandwich is essentially a deconstructed bowl of Pho, packed with roast beef, beansprouts, avocado, tomato, onion, basil, cilantro, as well as hoisin and Siracha sauce. The vegetarian options, such as the ’10,000’, with eggplant, squash and mozzarella, is also quite far from the usual dismal vegetarian option. With this spot open 24 hours, it’s a delicious and cheap post-barhopping choice. Sunny and Annie's Gourmet Deli 94 Avenue B [Photo via]
