Coffee Talk: Keeping Up With The Grind In NYC

3 of 5

Via Quadronno

Known for their latte art, this Madison Avenue location of Via Quadronno brews some of the best coffee in the city for relatively low prices. Considering that you are on 73rd and Madison, a location where a plate of pasta can easily cost upwards of $30, Via Quadronno has a large selection of generously portioned paninis and open-faced sandwiches such as the Tartufata (chopped champignon mushrooms in truffle oil over Fontina cheese). Though there really is not an outdoor cafe, there are a few tables located near the open floor to ceiling windows so be sure to snag those as soon as you get in. Also, if you happen to stay past 6 PM there is a daily fondue selection in the back dining room.
