After becoming a Mexican sensation in Jersey City, Taqueria expanded their deliciousness to the Lower East Side, where they serve authentic Mexican cuisine at affordable prices. Crowds come for the homemade guacamole and the $3 tacos, offered in varieties of fish, pork, cactus, steak, and lamb, as well as entrees like chicken-fried steak, tortilla soup, and pork swimming in green salsa. The margaritas, of course, are always a favorite- don't be surprised to find the place packed after 9pm with revelers on their second and third round.
