Why we like it: Located in the Bronx, La Cocina Boricua is a restaurant that is worth a little trekking, ultimately The Bronx is much closer than Puerto Rico.The ambiance is wonderful with the salsa music, and friendly staff. Their menu is truly authentic-serving up dishes such as piononos, surrullitos, culletas can can, and arroz con pollo.
