This NYC Hot Spot Is Serving Up Gold Leaf Pasta

by Stephanie Maida · December 1, 2017

Clearly we're not the only ones obsessed with matching our meals to our outfits. (How else are you supposed to get the perfect 'gram?)

Fast-casual cool girl favorite The Sosta is launching a special dish this December specifically designed to glitter along with your jewelry. Founders Samantha Wasser and Chef Ali LaRaia have teamed up with New York-based fine jewelry brand Alison Lou for a special edition MAMA MIA pasta dish inspired by the label's new collection of the same name. With pieces including a bow-tie pasta necklace and a fork-and-spoon earring set, the foodie collab is fittingly on-theme.

Rock some gold bling while you dig into the chic dish, which features red, white, and green gemelli, butter, Parmigiano-Reggiano, and flakes of gold leaf! While the colors are surely a shout out to the Italian flag, there's no denying that the pasta is also festive as hell. Red, green, and gold? It's like the carb version of Christmas.

The best part? This glam order will only run you about $12. Talk about a holiday miracle.

MAMA MIA pasta available through December at The Sosta, 186 Mott Street
