Rachelle got a random email yesterday. "Rachelle, please tell me you are single! If you are not single, then please tell me where to find a girlfriend!" Normally, we'd just ignore something like this, but something about Gerry's desperate plea made us want to help.-

Gerry, maybe part of the reason you can't find your girlfriend is because on your twitter profile, you link to a saved search with your last name as Author in the US National Library of Medicine . Girls like smart guys, but we're not exactly lining up to go out with WebMd.
We're gonna help Gerry out anyway, because he's a good looking (yes, we Facebook stalked), successful guy, and there really is no reason a good looking guy can't find a date in New York City.

"6 figures is not much in NYC". Where does this often perpetutated myth come from? The median household income in NYC is $50k, and even in Manahattan it's $65k. If you're making six figures, you're doing well, even at a "lowly" 100k.
