Where: The Appel Room in Jazz at Lincoln Center's Fredrick P. Rose Hall
Why: Kickoff off sumer with a swing by honoring rising stars in jazz. The hottest summer party in town will include performances by The Rodriguez Brothers featuring Robert Rodriguez, Mike Rodriguez, Ricky Rodriguez, Ludwig Afonso, and Paolo Stagnaro, and by rising jazz stars Jonathan Batiste, Cécile McLorin Salvant, and Elio Villafranca. Proceeds benefit Jazz at Lincoln Center’s education programs. Tickets for the Summer Benefit Cocktail Party begin at $125 and include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a one year Jazz at Lincoln Center membership.
