In a world of Kardashian Instagram trends, Batsheva Hay has tailored a style all her own. "Prairie folk sixties with an awesome shoe collection," one might say. Inside the designer's charming Upper West Side home, artfully decorated with familial finds, artifacts, and Persian rugs aplenty, well cleaned is the evidence of her increasingly busy second life. That is until the rolling rack makes its way into the foyer, and the pounds of piles of eBay packages and parcels are plopped on the living room floor. A friendly hurricane of florals left to speak for themselves, ever so loudly and ever so softly.

A seasoned lawyer and women's advocate, while Hay is technically new to the design world, she's been curating her remarkable modest-meets-modern aesthetic for years. Dressed in the vintage finds of her mother from a young age, fitting is it that Hay's eponymous line should feature a collection of mother-daughter pieces - playfully patterned dresses scaled down for an adorable lookalike moment.
