Would you say there's a difference between the way that American women and European women wear hats?
Well what I've notice specifically, because I did a trunk show at Liberty of London, with English women, it’s all on a formal level. Like you can’t go to a wedding without a hat. Whereas what I love about being an American designer is American casual, and the way that Americans pull it off. Here, American women have this certain casualness, which I feel like overall is just less showy on a day to day basis.
