Something tells us you’ve a pretty sizable hat collection. What’s the best way to store and organize your hats to keep them from losing their shape?
You can store them in hat boxes. I always think that looks really chic to have a bunch of hat boxes that are mismatched. I have one customer who owns over a hundred Eugenia Kim and she made one of her walls in her apartment a grid of my hats, like art. But with knits and soft hats, I put them in a dresser in a drawer. And then with felts and straws, you want to keep them on hooks so they’re not going to get smushed. That or I would put tissue paper inside of them because it keeps the shape.
