On the need for a tween-targeted blog
I got into it because when I was modeling, my friends would always say 'what'd you do today,' and would always want to know what I wore. I'd say a crop top and leggings or something, and they'd always say 'oh, that's so cool,' and then they'd always call me and say 'Callie, I"m wearing this, what should I wear with it?' I really wanted to make a blog. But before I made a blog, I had to see if there was anyone my age doing it. So I looked up if there were tween bloggers, and there were only bloggers aged 15 and up. And I thought, 'all these people 9-13 are probably dying for a tween blogger and to know how to dress, or just how to do it yourself.' I love DIY things. So I said to myself, 'I really want to do this and be the first tween blogger out there.'
It was so cool because I look to my friends for advice on what to post. All my friends are kind of my assistants. I always call them and say like, 'I'm doing a do it yourself, what do you think I should do, should I do string headphones, or something?' I never thought anyone would notice it, I just thought it'd be for my close friends.
