On balancing her busy schedule
I usually make my meetings at the beginning of the day or at the end of the day. Whether it's a buying meeting, creative meeting or working with a visual merchandiser, something happens in the beginning of the day. Then, I hope to god I get to my desk by 11 AM, sit down and answer a ton of emails. I deal with social media. I deal with my 16 employees. I will research new brands. I usually sit in my office until like 4:30, and then I'll make my other chunk of meetings at the end of the day. Most of those aren't the buying meetings. Most of those are more meeting with people and seeing what I can do with them. Those are the most fun, whether it's an artist or a person who does food and beverage and wants to put a cofffe bar in our store.
