Grungy Gentleman stands out because not only does it have the blog elements of style, entertainment, travel; it has its own shop, as well. How did you decide to branch into a hybrid site?

Through Grungy Gentleman, I was able to have some super amazing opportunities, some incredible opportunities, and I’ve written for a slew of publications, and I guess I started curving to my own point of view, I started developing my own perspective on menswear. After that, I partnered with Nas and created a clothing line with him, so I got to start designing clothes and working with a lot of emerging designers. I partnered with them on collaborative collections, and then eventually we got enough confidence to do it on our own. We launched with Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, two seasons ago; last season we had our show at Pier 59, and we’re about to talk about the new season right when you walk out of here.
