What are some current projects that you’re working on?
People tend to ask what spaces I’m excited about working on next, because there are things like Domino, of course, but I’m also interested in how artists are engaging in public life, beyond a physical space; for example, a lot of artists are really invested in expressing their citizenry as their art form, really getting involved in the tough issues of our time.
These are all things that are very interesting to me; so I ask myself how, as an organization, we can not only support individual artist’s projects, but as a networking community also create visibility and support for long-term sustainable projects that touch people’s lives in profound ways.
