The walls inside the elevators.

The walls inside the elevators. Peter: “It is southern yellow pine, which is the same stuff the building is built from. It’s almost indestructible. Just like our building, 100 years ago they knew the value of the lumber. So this is all heart – it comes from the center of the tree and our beams are the same. Down at the bottom they use the stuff from the center of the tree because its stronger and as you get closer to the top of the building they use stuff from the edges of the tree because it doesn’t carry quite as much weight.”
