Matcha tea

Basically, the greatest things in life are green: dollar bills, emeralds, and hot green matcha tea. In the pulse of popular food trends, hot green matcha has left lots of New Yorkers feeling smitten. Sometimes it's easy to get caught up in a busy working schedule and then forget to eat/drink the good stuff. In that case, matcha tea makes the perfect substitute for coffee, as a great source for focused concentration and relaxed energy.

What you'll need:
1 cup hot water
1 tsp organic matcha powder ($27; republicoftea.com)
1 tbsp of coconut oil, blended
Directions:
1. Sift matcha tea powder through a tea strainer for a smooth texture, without lumps. Pour 1 cup of hot water into a mixing bowl with the powder. Whip together until it becomes frothy. (Bronfman prefers to use Sharp's Tea-Ceré to brew her cup.)
2. Mix in 1 tbsp of coconut oil to the final product for some extra flavor. (optional).
