So you finally made a change for the sake of being healthy. Good for you! You've found a diet plan that seems reasonable and, in the long run, will improve your quality of life/body/skin/hair/whatever. At first you're high on the newness of the whole thing, possibly more infatuated with it than you are with your last date. But, like any relationship, sometimes things just don't work out.
