The Central Park Reservoir provides its runners and walkers with fresh aromas from trees and royal blue waters all while putting them in perfect view of the skyline. The loop around the water is a little over a mile and a half and is located from East 86th Street to East 96th Street in Central Park. Since the route consists of gravel, it tends to be more forgiving to runners' knees and hips. So grab your running shoes on the next sunny day and exercise around the reservoir.
