When Jules Kirby sent us a video of herself spoofing "High Society", we were excited to see her poke fun at her exaggerated portrayal on the show. Unfortunately, this video has us convinced that the CW couldn't have fed Jules lines like she's claimed to the press: this girl can't act her way out of a paper bag.-
First of all, before Jules even came on camera we had to listen to one minute of unintelligible dialogue between "Malink Ahso Chink", someone who was supposed to be Paul Johnson Calderon, and...some completely random lady. I have seen every episode of High Society and didn't understand WHAT they were talking about.
But then, Jules graces us with her presence, holding a startled looking baby. Yeah, I don't know.
"Jewless Sweetheart Scurvey", as the supertitle reads, (heh) immedaitely sets forth to clear up the most damaging and pressing issue of her High Society portrayal: her nose.
"I have a classical art history nose why don't you look in an art history book for once in your life it's all pictures it should be easy for you." she reads off-camera in one breath. In a completely monotone voice. With no expression.
There's no WAY High Society was scripted.
I didn't understand a lot of this video. I didn't understand the reference to Precious. I didn't understand the random baby. I didn't understand WHO that woman was supposed to be.
But I definitely, despite myself, laughed. Especially at the part where Jules says "No, I'm just saying!" in like, the fakest way possible. And then out of no where the random woman puts her in a choke hold. And I liked when Jules said, again, in one breath:
"This is pathetic, you are pathetic, and this whole scripted reality show is pathetic. I'm out of here." and promptly ran out of the building.
What??
No, really, what???

There is no way High Society scripted every moment for Jules Kirby. And even if she was scripted the role reflects poorly on her true character. How hard up for fame do you have to be to play such a mega-bit*#. The things she said and actions she took are trashy and dispicable. Good money should not be wasted on a person who behaves in such an undeserving manner.

I love high society, but why is jules kirby even a part of that show??!! Just because someone is lucky enough to be born into money does not entitle them to treat people like shit. Maybe she's angry because she's not near as hot as the rest of the girls. She is a waste of oxygen and a total douche.

@pixie: Tinsley Mortimer and her sister have plastic surgery and fake blonde hair and who knows what else. Jules looks au naturel in this video, is healthy, with none of that work. In many ways, a better example than the other two. She has enough money that she does not have to care about what we think while the other two have to date marry and kiss our as$es for money.

@smarty pants: Tinsley and Dabney may or may not have plastic surgery but regardless that does not take any of their beauty away, they are still gorgeous girls. On the other hand Jules may be all natrual in this video but sweetie she should have some work done because she most definitely isn't the prettiest flower in the garden. All her money is useless if it can't buy her beauty. She in no way shape or form is she prettier and for that matter better then the Mercer sisters and then that horrible attitude that she carries herslef in doesn't help one bit in making her a better example. I don't understand what the whole fake hair reference has to do with anything because everyone who's anybody has fake hair. Plus the whole dating for money thing is irrelevant.

I agree, Jules seems to have no class, she seems really trashy and skanky on High Society. And I also hate that "DGAF" additude, obviously you care what people think, I know everyone does.
