Tomorrow is Earth Day, so The Standard Hotel is celebrating by transforming their High Line Room into a yoga studio. Yoga is a good activity for Earth Day, because hippy, crunchy granola-types practice it. -

After the hour of "enlivening and rejuvenating" yoga at 7, guests will enjoy BluPrintCleanse Juices (which, if I'm not mistaken, are served in plastic disposable containers--just because it's made out of fruit does not make it a good match for Earth day!) and receive "their own piece of earth" (??) to plant and grow. (Does that mean like, a potted plant?)

The party will last until 11, at which point, we assume, the High Line Room will turn back into a normal functioning bar, and revelers can go back to their normal partying ways, pleased to have contributed meaningfully to Earth Day.
