Celebrate The Fourth Of July With A Rustic Day Trip To Twin Star Orchards

by Phoebe Brenner · July 3, 2020

Add some spark to your weekend with a day trip to Twin Star Orchards in New Paltz for their annual Fourth of July Pig Roast. Just two hours outside of New York City, Twin Star Orchards is the perfect place to escape with your significant other or best friends (of all kinds - they are dog friendly!).

Get ready to pig out and enjoy slow-roasted pork sandwiches and platters with homemade coleslaw and sweet Hawaiian buns. Or enjoy their signature wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas, burgers, and Brooklyn House cider. All paired with some dreamy country scenery and all the rustic, Americana vibes fit for the occasion.

The venue opens at noon which gives you plenty of time to explore the 210 acres of orchards and scenic pond. Plus, the Michael Sarian Acoustic Quartet will kick off the pig roast at 4 p.m. and will be playing all night long.

Twin Star Orchards will be following all social distancing procedures in place for outdoor dining and encourages everyone to  a wear face mask at all times. There can be a maximum of 10 people per group. Additional safety precautions can be found on their website.

Snag your tickets in advance because you surely don’t want to miss this event (and because you'll get a free hard cider tasting with your advanced ticket).
