Few have had the time to truly explore the depths of Central Park, but if you are looking for a good place to start, Bethesda Terrace is a beautiful sanctuary located around 72nd street that features some incredible views and amazing architecture. Two grand staircases connect the upper and lower terrace, which are constructed out of sandstone and granite, and there are some incredible archways along the perimeter. The famed Bethesda Fountain lies in the center of the lower terrace and was constructed with a meticulous level of detail, so that it can be admired from both near and afar.
