Everyone loves food. That it is an incontrovertible truth. So dissociating yourself from us plebeians by flaunting your self-proclaimed "refined palette" is douchey. We write about food trends aplenty here at Guest of a Guest, but at the end of the day, we even admit that a greasy burger from a local diner is just as appetizing as an artinsinal salad that looks like a mosaic of savory locally sourced fruits. The only way "foodies" are different from us is that they overtly broadcast a love affair with food that is a universally shared sentiment.
