Cynthia Rowley has had a busy summer. From collaborating with Johnson & Johnson on a line of band-aids to working on DREAMPOP, a new collection for tweens available at JC Penney, Rowley hasn't had much down time. But her biggest project of the season just wrapped last week-- her show for New York Fashion Week, which was held at the very cool downtown space 5 Beekman. Rowley spoke with us about what it was like planning and holding show at 5 Beekman, the inspiration for her new collection, and what she really thinks of fashion week!
