Last week was a wild one including co-chairing Grassroot Soccer and hosting Sparrow's birthday party. So we were both a little exhausted as we got on an early morning flight on Sunday for LA on Jetblue. (special thanks to Jerry Morris for the passes!) We arrived around noon in Burbank, so much closer to Hollywood than LAX (who knew)? We headed straight to our favorite place on the planet, In-n-Out Burger, and ate until we were full. We checked into our room at the Roosevelt, and hit the sack. We were invited to Miley's birthday at Disney World but literally could not move and spent the night in bed.

The next morning we were refreshed and got a wake up call from Lydia Hearst-Shaw and off we went for the day. We hit our favorite spots, Griddle for breakfast, Barney's, Fred Segal's and Louis Vuitton for shopping, Chateau Marmont for lunch and back to the room for a pre-dinner nap. Dinner found us at a new favorite restaurant Sushi Park. At Sushi Park you do not order yourself, you risked getting kicked out if you request a California roll, and each dish is given with strict instructions on whether or not you are allowed to use soy sauce. There we met with Susie Castillo and husband Matt Leslie, fellow Wyntoon-er Perry and Leven Rambin. It was great to catch up with everyone . Leven of course is a regular on FOX's the Sarah Connor Chronicles and Susie is currently guest starring on TBS's House of Payne and Lydia is on this month's cover of GQ as well as the 20th anniversary cover of German Elle Magazine.

After dinner we headed to the Roosevelt and sat by the pool and had cocktails. Lydia scared the crap out of us with some real ghost stories and we all had a laugh. It was really nice to sit outside, chat and relax. We ended the night early because we had a shoot in the morning. Said our sad goodbyes and were off to bed.

Tuesday we had breakfast in Lydia's room and helped her pack. We then headed to Pier 59 West for the photo shoot. The shoot was for images that are going to be featured on the invite for a party that we are having at the end of the month. That's all we can say for now. Lydia rocked the outfits, Eric Ray Davidson (www.artwingny.com) was the maestro behind the camera, Ilaria Urbinati (owner of the new LA store Confederacy) styled the hell out of the shoot and the hair and makeup were stunning. I am really looking forward sharing the final results with GofG next week.

After the shoot found us at In-n-Out for a final burger and then back to our room to pack quickly and hit the red-eye. We're back in New York and loving it.
