About Face: Super Models Then and Now
Another one from HBO, this documentary looks at the first supermodels, a concept born in the 1970's when a lot of these models were coming of age.
The film features interviews with some of the most famous models from the 20th Century including Isabella Rossellini, Cheryl Teigs, Jerry Hall, and Christie Brinkley. They talk about what it was like to work at the peek of their career and how they have evolved into the women they are today. These women are all dealing with the pressures to sustain their beauty in an industry obsessed with youth and the next fresh face.
