It's really happening! This fall, one of my favorite childhood books, Where the Wild Things Are, is going to be up on the big screen! Written and directed by Spike Jones (along with Dave Eggers), this adaptation of Maurice Sendak's classic story of Max, a disobedient boy that, after being sent to bed without his supper, creates his own fantasy world of ferocious wild creatures, is sure to be a hit.  Staring Forest Whitaker, James Gandolfini, Lauren Ambrose, and others, the film will be in theatres October 19th.
