This Friday, scores of women around the country could experience what it feels like to romp around town in Manolo Blahnik's and Prada without stepping out of their Levi's. Sex and the City may have opened to mixed reviews in Gotham, but there were no negative reviews from where I was sitting....Above was my little documentation of Sex and the City invading small town America. As for my own review? Well, lets just say I billed the 2.5 hours spent in the theater as WORK.

As a fellow midwesterner...ugh. That was a very accurate portrayal. So sad. Tourists bombarded NYC in SATC pink t-shirts and feather boas. I think people might be missing the point of the original series. GREAT CLOTHES and confident style.
