One of our favorite songs of 2012 was Sky Ferreira's "Everything is Embarrassing," which evoked the unsettling feelings of desire in a danceable pop style. Her grungy style, a welcomed contrast to the bubbly pop songs of major artists, is partially due the indie influence from Dev Hynes of Blood Orange, who produced the track and other songs on the forthcoming album.
