Music To Your Ears: Bands To See This Week

by Mara Siegler · February 22, 2011

Feeling bad you weren't quick enough to get LCD Soundsystem tickets before his four shows sold out in forty-five minutes this morning? No worries, there are plenty of great bands and artists playing this week from a pantsless pop star to a sad white boy at a piano to indie rockers. Take a look at our recommendations for this week.

    Tuesday, February 22

Lady Gaga @ MSG Miss Lady Gaga last night? She's at Madison Square Garden again this evening. Tickets are sold out but are going for skyrocket prices on Craigslist. If you're not prepared to drop $500 and some dollars on a ticket, no worries. The show will air on HBO in March. [Via]

    Other Picks:

    Trey Anastasio @ Terminal 5

Air Waves, Amy Klein (from Titus Andronicus), Soft Landing, Inoculist @ Glasslands

    Wednesday, February 23

David Gray @ Beacon Theater In a message on his website, Gray says he’s shooting for a true listening experience, something a little more hushed and intimate. Think acoustic. Bring Kleenex. [Via]
