For the next week, Brooklyn will be the home of the Northside Festival. Dedicated to all things film, music, and art, this is the week every hipster dreams lives for. It is a culmination of urban-semi underground culture, allowing New Yorkers to experience first hand the innovations these art forms have to offer.
The week will showcase an eclectic mix of new films, music and art, featuring a few New York natives. The "bonus" shows include: Philip Glass featuring Nate Wooley and Stephin Merrit, Jonathan Richman, Zambri and Ice Choir, Dawes and Kurt Vile and fun.
