So, MSG is hosting The National, REM, and Modest Mouse this evening during regular ol’ concert hours, but for those diehard The Moon and Anarctica/old school Isaac Brock lovers, Bowery Presents announced a secret 1am show at The Music Hall of Williamsburg, with tickets a reasonable $20.
Late night secret music? Sounds like summer, and that age-old nostalgia of humid nights spent listening to scratched Modest Mouse CDs in the PHY sent me frantically to the internet in search of these “secret tickets.” Alas, my scrambling hopes were in vain. SOLD OUT! Who are these internet scavangers? As a blogger, I should be faster at my Ticketmaster draw. Currently my plan is to haggle pathetically outside—or just hope that Michael Swier will read this post and give me a free ticket!
