Jack White is more then an artist and he is more then a musical genius. With The Raconteurs, he is the perfect frontman, sharing the spotlight with Brendan Benson on vocals and guitars. The Raconteurs second album, Consolers of the Lonely, is a blend of classic sounds and modern moods. It beckons artists like Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin and The Who whilst presenting an album of equally interesting tracks. More photos below:
A personal live favorite was the song called Attention blended into a song from the first album and then back into the song Attention. The whole show was high energy and the band held the audience in their hands on every note. The crowd was a wide variety of ages and interests, most there for their love of Jack White but many truly loving the band as a whole. They are a unique gem and seeing them live was quite a memorable experience.
