The CMJ Music Marathon remains one of the most important music festivals for unsigned artists to get discovered. It’s a precursor to the much bigger SXSW festival in March, and hosts acts from all over the world. Some big names performing this year include Nina Sky, Kimbra, and The Walkmen. While there will be showcases scattered throughout the LES and Williamsburg from October 16- 20th, secret shows and after parties are guaranteed to pop up.
