The Nerd Alert Report...

SXSW really is just one giant party. And, leave it to Rex Sorgatz to get a mention in the Times for throwing one.  His impromptu pool party (titled on email chain "The Bikini Flashmob Pool Party") on the top of the Omni Hotel was an important enough event to justify a mention in the Times. (The Times people!) Standing here with the stars of his "I'm Just Saying Show", you can all relax.  Everyone (including Rex) is on planes home and the sxsw chatter should die down within days....

iPhone 3.0 chatter is still making its rounds.  So apple is reinventing what it means to cut and paste but what are your other favorite new features? Asha's include the 3G Tethering, The new spotlight making it way easy to search, landscape keyboard, improved stocks application, shake to shuffle music, voice memo application, and the push notification making receiving messages automatic. Twttr. The most exciting nerd porn of the day comes from a look back on what Twitter looked like at the beginning phases, back when it was competing with Dodgeball for Google's eye.
