Fresh Direct is really worried about you. If the doormen go on strike, you will be physically incapable of procuring food for yourself. You might starve. Fresh Direct does NOT want that to happen.-

In an email sent out to Manhattan customers, they informed patrons, in the most serious of tones:

"Over 28,000 doormen, elevator operators, porters, and other residential building employees have indicated that they will strike at 11:59 pm, Tuesday, April 20th."

Do not panic. DO NOT PANIC.

"Whether or not a strike occurs, we will do everything in our power to deliver high-quality service and food."

But HOW WILL IT GET INTO MY APARTMENT?!?!?! How will it get UP THE ELEVATOR?

Fresh Direct offers some advice:

"We encourage customers in potentially affected buildings to stock up now and schedule delivery for Tuesday or sooner."

Do you understand?!?! STOCK UP NOW! Get everything you can. Otherwise it might be DAYS until we can have Grilled Thin-Crust Mozzarella Pizzas delivered from a truck into our apartment.
